This time, I'm gonna teach you words or expressions of feelings.
First of all, Korean people use a lot 죽겠다 (Jook-get-da) 죽겠어 (direct means 'be dying')
For example,
배고파 죽겠다 (Bae-go-pa-jook-get-da :
I'm dying to eat. I'm so starving. I'm damn hungry)
싫어 죽겠다 (sil-aheo-jook-get-da: I
really hate it)
보고싶어 죽겠다
(bo-go-sip-peo-jook-get-da: I'm missing you so bad)
아파 죽겠다 (ah-pa-jook-get-da: I'm
terribly sick)
웃겨 죽겠다 (woot-gye-jook-get-da: It
is so funny. Lol, LMAO)
더워 죽겠다 (deo-wo-jook-get-da: It is
super duper hot !!!)
추워 죽겠다 (choo-wo-jook-get-da: It's
freaking cold)
졸려 죽겠다 (jol-reo-jook-get-da: it's
so sleepy)
지겨워 죽겠다 (jee-gye-wo-jook-get-da:
it is so boring. I'm bored)
간지러 죽겠다 (gan-ji-reo-jook-get-da:
it's so tickle)
무서워 죽겠다 (moo-seo-wo-jook-get-da:
It's so scary. I'm so scared)
힘들어 죽겠다 (him-dul-aheo-jook-get-da:
it is so hard to do-you can use this when you are really tired but 지쳐 죽겠다 (zee-cheu-jook-get-da) is original meaning of I'm dam tired, so I feel like i'm dying)
화나 죽겠다 (hua-na-jook-get-da: I'm
so mad)
짜증나 죽겠다
(Zza-zeuing-na-jook-get-da: I'm so annoyed)
It's like a habit that people add 죽겠다 (like postfix) when they want to
emphasize their feeling (emotions)
means 'really, terribly, so bad,,,,'
Just think that it is same as "i'm dying to
do....."
졸라 (jol-ra) or 존나 (jon-na) is another word which expresses 'really, terribly, so bad, ..' but it's
more teenagers expression and 졸라 (jol-ra) and 존나 (jon-na) should be a prefix.
For example,
졸라/존나 배고파 (jol-ra/jon-na bae-go-pa: I'm so
hungry)
졸라/존나 싫어 (jol-ra/jon-na sil-aheo: I really
hate it)
졸라/존나 보고파 (jol-ra/jon-na bo-go-pa: I really
really miss it)
and so on...
I, honestly, used to use 졸라/존나 a lot when I was a high
school student, but I dropped this bad habit after I graduate high school. Many
teenagers still use this word a lot but it doesn't sound good, especially when
girls use this word. It is stronger than 죽겠다 (you can feel difference tone and volume between 졸라/존나 and 죽겠다)
If you are an adult but use 졸라 (jol-ra)/존나 (jon-na) a lot, people
would get bad impression or people would think you used bad words a
lot.
You can express your emotions without 죽겠다 or 졸라, such as 배고파 (Bae-go-pa : I'm hungry)
like this.
I recommend that if you want to emphasize your feeling, use 완전(wan-jun) instead of 졸라/존나/or 죽겠다. You can use 완전 (wan-jun) like prefix. It means totally, completely !!!
완전 배고파 (wan-jun bae-go-pa)
완전 보고파 (wan-jun bo-go-pa)
완전 화나 (wan-jun hua-na)
I wanna share more detail expression about
feeling of angry in Korean.
화나 (hwa-na)
or 화났어
(hwa-nat-sseo) means I'm angry. I'm mad)
열받아 (yul-ba-da) (I'm pissed off, I'm steamed up) (burn me up)
완전 화나. 완전 열받아 (wan-jun-hua-na) (wan-jun-yul-ba-da) (I'm
뚜껑 열려 (ddu-kkung-yul-ryeo) (direct means 'A rid is opened but under meaning is your head is opened because you are so mad)
빡쳐 (slang) (ppack-chyeo) It is very strong slag that describe emotion of anger.
It seems like some one hit your forehead. if you use 존나 빡쳐 (jon-na ppack-chyeo), people know how much you are mad.
I'm gonna finish this now because 나 배고파 (na bae-go-pa) (im hungi hungi)
